My dream last night: Time Traveler
Lately I've been having extremely vivid and detailed dreams. I don't really care what they mean as long as they are entertaining. :) As I was telling Carl about the dream I had last night, I realized this might be a fun thing to blog about and give you a little insite into my psyche.
Dream: Time Traveler
I went back in time about 15 years and was in high school, although I was at the age I am now. I was out shopping with my classmates and it was so confusing looking at the fashions that I knew were out of style, but was supposed to like at that time. While we were out shopping, they told me the newest and most hip style was a particular kind of jeans and wearing headphones while listening to your "walkman." I said, "awesome, I have a pair of earbud headphones" (thinking of the Skull Candy green buds I have now). My friends looked at me totally shocked and said "where did YOU get headphones?" I felt like I might have just altered the space-time continuum by accidently revealing headphone secrets from the future.
In a related, but sideline story, while I was back in time, I had two awesome cats named Trigger and Paco. :) They were very awesome cats and when it was time to come back to the future, I had to leave them behind and was devestated. Fortunately, my friend Amber (Cleveland) was the only person that knew I was a time traveler AND she knew how much I loved those cats. So, she cryogenically froze the kittens in a small jar (like a jelly jar) and surprised me by mailing them to me in the future. When I got the package, I opened it but the jar was all frosted over. So I wiped by fingers across the glass to see what was inside and there were my two perfect little kittens. I left the jar on the counter until it defrosted and poured the kittens out. They woke up slowly, but were their normal, naughty selves.
