Dirty Bastard

Every project has a level of difficulty and as the difficulty level increases, so do the swear words. I'd say removing our old dishwasher and installing the new one would fall on my Grandpa's scale of swear words around the level of "Dirty Bastard." Getting the old one out was pretty straight forward. But getting the new one in was a little frustrating.

It pretty much came down to a nail that was sticking out of the side of the cabinet that prevented us from getting it pushed into position. However, it took like 2 hours to figure out it was a stupid nail. Alas, the dishwasher is in and it runs like a dream.

Expanding Shafer Family

Carl and I were so lucky to meet the newest member of the Shafer family this weekend named Toby Matthew. He was so sweet and looks much like his Daddy Josh. Mommy Amy reports that she is feeling better every day. Their sweet doggie Max is doing so well with the adjustment to being a big brother.
